Katina Modestie, a mathematics teacher at a high school, would like to marry the highly respected mathematics professor, Actor von Goethe; therefore, she tries with all her powers of seduction to awaken a feeling of love for her in him.

Although the professor is always helpful and affectionate towards her, he doesn't reveal his true feelings, which causes her a mixture of hope and anxiety. He is mainly guided by Schiller's words ‚‚Consider who binds themselves forever, to see if the heart finds its heart", for which he has come up with many ideas. Will they ever become a couple?

It is a novella for all ages, from teenagers upwards. It is also very suitable for class reading and provides plenty of material for discussions. Unfortunately, this book only exists in German under the title ‚‚Katina Modestie und Actor von Goethe".
